At the time of the above video upload to Youtube, I was not using the Blackstrap Molasses. I also mentioned in the video that I was not going to ingest it ever because I can’t stand the taste. I still can’t stand the taste, but I had a change of heart. I decided to use it to improve the quality of my hair after finding out that it is great as a hair treatment.
Several people have mentioned that by using blackstrap molasses as a topical hair treatment, it actually smoothed and improved the appearance and also the texture of their hair. I highly recommend that you massage the Blackstrap Molasses into your hair.
The next step would be to cover your hair with a shower cap. Leave it in for at least one hour. You can put the molasses in your hair in the morning on a day like Saturday when you are home from work and do your daily chores. After the chores, rinse out the molasses. This treatment can lead to long, strong, beautiful hair. To be frank, I get lots of compliments on my hair. Maybe it’s a combination of all the natural products I use in my hair…the Molasses, the Apple Cider Vinegar (http://youtu.be/NlzEo23Kg_0), etc…who knows? LOL!
By the way, check out the following forum ( http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=198277.0 ) and you will find several testimonies from people who claim that Blackstrap Molasses is working for them…helping them to stop gray hair from growing.
I’ve learned that a lack of copper in the diet contributes to the growth of gray hair. Blackstrap molasses contains copper, and that facilitates the production of melanin which assists in hair pigmentation. I recommend that you take one tablespoon daily or take 2 teaspoons everyday…once in the morning and the other in the evening. Some people expect to see results right away. However, it usually takes anywhere from three to twelve months to see the results. So please be patient.
Stop gray hair with Blackstrap Molasses…really? That is what I asked my 65-year-old best friend who recommended it to my hubby sometime ago. My hubby swears by it…claiming that it can stop gray hair from growing. He takes it religiously everyday.
Is it working? I am not going to sit here and tell you that I am 100% sure that it does stop gray hair. However, I Googled it, and it is working and has worked for a lot of people, including my husband. Again, I can only say that based on what see, it seems to be working for my hubby. Well, so far.
Is it the molasses or is genetics the reason why he is not gray yet? Don’t know. His two brothers have lots of gray hair and his father’s head is completely covered with gray hair. He is older than his two brothers. So maybe he is right about the Blackstrap molasses.
So let’s take a look at some of the benefits of molasses. A tablespoon of molasses has over 300 milligram of potassium. Now that’s a lot of potassium for such a small dose. So that’s one of the biggest benefits of molasses. It is something that should be included in a healthy diet. Blackstrap Molasses is also rich in iron, calcium and copper.
Millions of people claim that Blackstrap Molasses cures cancerous tumors, fibroid tumers, arthritis pain, constipation, lowering blood pressure, anemia, acne, prevents muscle cramping, and many more. Now this sounds like a serious “Wonder drug,” to me…some really great stuff. I just wish I loved the taste of it. I absolutely hate the taste.
All molasses are not created equal though. Some taste better than others. If you are going to add molasses to your diet, make sure it it Blackstrap molasses.
As I mentioned in the video…I HATE the taste of molasses, but there is one that I can tolerate better than all the others I’ve tried…Wholesomes Sweetners – Organic Molasses. I used to get sick to my stomach when injesting just one tablespoon daily. Some people actually love the taste.
It must be something wrong with me…my husband said. He loves the taste. So here’s the deal…I just learned from someone that if you mix lime juice, apple cidar vinegar, honey, water and molasses, it tastes like Coca Cola. Okay…that sounds scary…ewwww!! I will try it and get back to you on this one.
