Check out my video below to see all the organic food that I purchased at Trader Joe’s. We all know that organic food is more expensive, however, you can actually save money if you do it my way.

How? Well, it’s called, “Good Ole Budgeting.” I bet you thought I was going to say something else, right? It’s as simple as that.

If you make a list of breakfast, lunch, and dinner that you are going to prepare for the week, write down the ingredients and then go organic food shopping, you would see that eating healthy is not as expensive as most people make it seem.

I want to practice what I preach, so I created a budget, stuck to it, and now I’m sharing it with you. By the way, the only way you will see the savings is by cooking at least 90% of your meals. You can do it! Give it a whirl.

You make it look so inexpensive. I’ve tried, but organic foods unless planted in your backyard is too expensive.

I agree – it is easy to buy organics with a budget. I love Trader Joe’s; they have the best healthy food! My downfall is not sticking to my weekly planner. Great tips, thanks!

jbunny, although I love Trader Joes, there is a very small health food store in my area called Martindale’s that is the best. They cater to people with gluten, soy, corn and dairy issues. I shop there just for me and for the family, it’s Trader Joe’s. It seems like almost all of our foods contain gluten, corn, dairy, and soy.
