Who would believe that the TOOTHPASTE that you’ve been using for years can actually cause BRAIN DAMAGE? The fluoride contained in the toothpaste does just that. Did you know that if you swallow just a small amount of the toothpaste, that you are advised to seek medical attention immediately?
FLOURIDE IS MORE TOXIC THAN LEAD, and almost as toxic as arsenic. I used to think that when we spit out the toothpaste, that the harmful chemicals did not enter our bodies. BOY WAS I WRONG!! The area under our tongue is very receptive to absorbing chemicals and other substances, good or bad.
You can purchase a Flouride-Free, SLS-Free toothpaste like Jason Powersmile Toothpaste from Amazon.com, your local health food store or simply MAKE YOUR OWN:
MAKE YOUR OWN TOOTHPASTE
To make your own toothpaste, just use a fifty/fifty ratio of coconut oil to BAKING SODA. Start with a small batch and use a few tablespoons of each. Add a few drops of an ESSENTIAL OIL, like peppermint or spearmint. To whiten teeth, adding a small amount of 3% food grade HYDROGEN PEROXIDE can be added (Optional).
After mixing your toothpaste, keep it in a glass container with a lid. Then, just spoon some out for use or just dip your dry toothbrush into it. The mixture doesn’t need to be refrigerated and because coconut oil is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal, it’ll help keep your toothbrush clean and sanitary too.
Coconut oil is liquid above 76 degrees and solid below, so the mixture can change consistency with the weather. You’ll also want to rinse with warm water to prevent the oil from hardening in your sink or drain.
NOTE: You can add Stevia to sweeten the toothpaste, but I won’t recommend that. The homemade recipe is not sweet but you get used to it, and knowing it doesn’t harm you, does make it taste better psychologically, too. It’s definitely a mind thing….LOL!!!
I think the best overall oral treatment can be obtained by using a combination of baking soda, 3% food-grade hydrogen peroxide, and essential oils of Almond, Spearmint, and Peppermint. All these items can be purchased separately so that you can make your own toothpaste.
You do not have to use coconut oil. I’m just a fan of coconut oil because of it’s major benefits that I prove on a daily basis.
MORE REASONS TO THROW OUT YOUR TOOTHPASTE AND MAKE YOUR OWN
If fluoride wasn’t bad enough, there are even more reasons to throw away your old toothpaste. Typically, the following is found in conventional toothpastes:
Sodium fluoride: a toxic byproduct of aluminum and fertilizer chemical factories
Triclosan: a pesticide chemical used as a preservative
Propylene glycol: anti-freeze used in cars!
Sodium Laureth Sulfate: a toxic detergent used as a foaming agent
Artificial sweeteners: like saccharin and the brain-damaging aspartame
DEA: another foaming agent that is toxic to the liver and kidneys
YES! FLOURIDE MAKES YOU STUPID!
A recent Chinese study concluded that low dose sodium fluoride in drinking water diminishes IQ, especially among children. This is the twenty-fourth such international study with the same conclusion.
The next time somebody tries to tell you that there is no scientific evidence proving that fluoride chemicals are harmful to human health, simply point them to a new study review recently published in the Institute of Environmental Health Sciences journal Environmental Health Perspectives that shows, for something like the 25th time now, that fluoride damages brain development and leads to significantly lower IQ levels in humans.
Researchers from both Harvard University’s School of Public health and China Medical University in Shenyang jointly studied the effects of fluoride on children by evaluating 27 different fluoride studies. Upon review, the team found “strong indications” that fluoride exposure, particularly among developing children, is highly problematic for proper cognitive development and brain formation.
Children living in areas where public water supplies are artificially fluoridated had far lower IQ levels overall, based on the figures, compared to children living in non-fluoridated areas. And after accounting for other outside factors that may have influenced cognitive health and development, the team essentially determined that there is no denying a link between fluoride exposure and damaged IQ.
