I love fried plantains…both the green and the ripe plantains.
As you can see in the photo to the above, fried plantains make a great side dish to any meal. We don’t eat too much fried foods, but this is the healthier route to eating french fries.
I usually fry the plantains in coconut oil, which is beneficial for weight loss. Whenever you fry foods, make sure you use coconut oil because of all the benefits it has to offer. Why use other oils and feel guilty after eating? Go guilt-free…use coconut oil when frying all of your fried foods including fried plantains. Following are two videos that my 12 year old son recorded while I fried the green plantains. I hope you try the fried plantains. I bet you’ll like them.
